More than four months after stopping construction on a high-rise condominium in Kakaako, the developer of Moana Vista has been the target of at least five legal actions from companies claiming they are owed almost $38 million.

Anderson group holds only 25-30% of the building.  The vast majority of condos in this building are not part of Anderson group, therefore, they will not be affected in the same way. The condo owners will still be able to live there with less lobby traffic and the investors can still use other companies to market and manage their units.

 

 

Ernie Els golf course opens on Oahu

The 18-hole, 7,400-yard championship course built by the Ernie Els Design Group at Haseko's Hoakalei Resort in Ewa Beach on Oahu will need to mature before it can host a world-class professional tournament, Els said, adding that he’d like to see a tournament played there when the course is “spot-on.”

A plan to divide and sell the 80-room Waikiki Beachside Hotel on Kalakaua Avenue as a 10-unit luxury condominium has been canceled by the property's owner, which now intends to sell the 12-story building as is...Renovation is under way on 20 of the 80 units, but the condo conversion was canceled in part because units didn't sell well. County approvals to convert the hotel into 10 condo units have expired.
