About Sachiko Trillo, Hawaii Realtor
Honesty, integrity and respect. And a gift for client service. These are the qualities that distinguish Sachiko's work in Hawaii real estate.
Bicultural
Sachiko also brings a bicultural perspective to her work, enabling clients from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland and Asia to work comfortably with her. Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, she earned a BA in English Literature from Kobe College, one of Japan’s oldest colleges for women.
After graduation, Sachiko joined the reservations and sales team at Cathay Pacific Airways, one of Asia’s leading airlines. Her strong instincts for customer service soon got her promoted to reservations instructor. She then came to Hawaii to study for a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at Hawaii Pacific University. She also broadened and deepened her client service expertise with work in Japanese Customer Relations at Waikiki Sunset Resort, service as Japan Client Liaison for a high-tech Internet translation venture, and work at the Japan-America Institute of Management Science (JAIMS), a post-graduate, intercultural business school where she helped students find internships and employment.
Specialty
About half a year after starting her real estate career, Sachiko began developing what has become her specialty – luxury condominiums in Waikiki, Ala Moana and Kaka‘ako, and high-end single-family residences, particularly in the exclusive Kahala area.
Soon after she entered this field, she was hand-picked for the Ala Moana Hotel Condominium sales team by Penny Bradley, one of the founders of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, Hawaii’s largest real estate company, for which Sachiko continues to work.
The experience Sachiko gained on that team has proven invaluable in assisting her clients. “They find me very helpful in explaining all the documents and shepherding them through the process,” she says. She has now helped clients find homes in most of the major Kaka‘ako luxury condominiums – Hawaiki Tower, Nauru Tower, 1350 Ala Moana, Moana Pacific, Ko‘olani and Hokua. In Waikiki, she has sold units in such well-known condominiums as Lanikea, Waikiki Landmark, Discovery Bay, Island Colony, Hawaiian Monarch and Ala Wai Terrace.
She has also sold multi-million-dollar homes in Kahala.
Credentials
While strong client service is a pillar of Sachiko’s success – she ranks among the top 1 percent of real estate agents in Honolulu – she rests neither upon this gift, nor upon all the experience she has gained. Instead, she works tirelessly to strengthen her professional knowledge, earning several key credentials – Realtor® (the broker’s license that allows her to display the initial “R” after her name), e-PRO (Expert in Internet Marketing), CHMS (Certified Home Marketing Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtor® Institute).
Seminars
All this experience and knowledge enables Sachiko to offer real estate seminars for investors in Japan and regularly conduct tours for foreign buyers looking to invest in Honolulu property.
Beyond Expectations
The experience, knowledge and warm customer service that Sachiko offers – and the honesty, integrity and respect that are her hallmarks – provide clients with a memorable, “beyond expectations” experience.
