Hawaii No. 2 for occupancy in 1Q

Hotel revenues in Hawaii increased 7.5 percent in the first quarter to $859.5 million, a record high, according to the latest Hawaii Hotel Flash Report. For the year to date through March, the statewide average daily rate was up 6.6 percent to $217.66. Occupancy was down 0.8 percentage points.
